About Us

Persian, the language that has produced exceptional masterpieces in poetry, literature, and morality, holds a position of honour. Notable figures such as Ferdowsi, Saadi, Hafez, Omar Khayyam, and Molavi have emerged from our land, leaving behind a wealth of invaluable works in Persian. Despite encountering various civilisations, Persian’s strong foundation and the brilliance of its scholars have ensured its enduring influence. Unaffected by destructive forces, Persian stands firm in its own strength and origin.

Iranian culture, with a history spanning over 5,000 years, is a source of pride globally. Cyrus the Great, 2,500 years ago, bestowed upon the world the gift of human rights, rejecting slavery, violence, and aggression. Instead, he championed liberty and freedom for all individuals. This cultural heritage continues to inspire and resonate, reflecting the values of equality and dignity.

Persian language and culture have produced remarkable literary achievements, with influential figures shaping its legacy. Iranian culture, with its long history, carries the enduring message of human rights and freedom, as demonstrated by the enlightened vision of Cyrus the Great.

School history

Andisheh Persian School was established in 1998 with the aim of preserving the Persian language and nurturing Iranian culture among children who have migrated from their ancestral homeland and are geographically separated. The school operates as a nonprofit organisation, ensuring its continuity and long-term impact.

Proper education is crucial for our children to become healthy, well-rounded individuals who can contribute significantly to the community, both in Iran and Australia, which has become a second home for many. By ensuring their success in personal and societal aspects, we not only secure a prosperous future for them but also enhance the achievements of the Iranian community in Australia, enriching our collective experience with the glories of ancient history.
